In 1993, the company was privatized, becoming a 100% private company under the name "POLIPLAST" OOD. The company's main activity is the production of PET bottles and bottles, closures, handles and others. from HDPE. In 2004, the company was certified according to the international standard ISO 9001: 2000. In 2007, an additional site was opened in Sofia. At the beginning of 2008, the company made a new investment in production facilities and new equipment, which significantly increased its production capacity. In 2011, POLIPLAST OOD implemented a project for the introduction of a Quality Management System and a Food Safety Management System according to the international standards ISO 9001: 2008 and FSSC 22000: 2010. In 2017, the company successfully completed the recertification for ISO 9001: 2015 and FSSC 22000: 2013 standards, which are a testament to the fact that POLIPLAST OOD applies and maintains a management system that ensures its ability to consistently provide a product that meets customer and regulatory requirements.
